I expect this to be placed in a server-specific deployment descriptor that describes the mapping between the fields in the EJB and the columns in the given database table, T_CUSTOMER. My experience is with JBoss. For JBoss 2.4.x, T_CUSTOMER will be used in jaws.xml; for JBoss 3.x, T_CUSTOMER will be used in jbosscmp-jdbc.xml. Note that these files will not be generated unless you include the <jboss/> subtask in your <ejbdoclet/> task in your ant build file.
