Jeff,
Check and double-check your classpath. I had no end of problems
upgrading from a very stable 1.1.2 to 1.2b2. I set and re-set my
classpath, hacked my build script up, changed JAVA_HOME - everything I
could think of. Nothing seemed to work.
I *finally* found a 1.1.2 xdoclet.jar hanging around in $ANT_HOME/lib -
how'd that get there? After removing this conflicting jar, everything
worked great.
