If you're not using any other EJB 2.0 bits, you could set the ejbspec parameter to "1.1" on your ejbdoclet task. Otherwise, how about ensuring all the beans have a view-type="remote" parameter on their @ejb.bean tags? (I believe the default is remote for session beans but local for entity beans, as normally that's good practice.)
