I'm working on some custom doclet (the Sun version, to output comments and info like that), and am very happily turning to XJavaDoc since JavaDoc Doclet API is pretty horrible with lots of static, not to mention ugly licensing issues.

The one feature I don't think XJavaDoc handles is the package.html description. It seems like in theory the XPackage could expose an XDoc object, but is it infeasible to pass package.html to the doc parser?

Any suggestions on how I should go about doing this mod to handle package.html, or is this already in the works?
