How hard can it possibly be to send test emails to somewhere else that 
isn't a public mailing list with a few thousand subscribers? Create 
your own damn sourceforge project and a mailing list in it and send 
test emails all day long there, where you won't clutter up everyone's 
inboxes with this nonsense.
