Wrong place.  It needs to go in the same folder hierarchy below the
merge dir as the bean class' package structure.  As I said just a few
days ago; see the messages titled "oc4j merge files - what to name?".

It was not only the wrong place. The second reason is, that the name of the mergefile have to be ejb-refs-"BeanClassName".xml.
Like you described in your mail, several day ago, the {0} from ejb-refs-{0}.xml have to be the name of the bean-class, not the logical name of the bean.
