In fact I have the exact same problem (with message beans and the info I need to
specify). I do have version 1.2b3 and it doesn't do what you want apparently.

Thanks

Hiya,

Thanks for your answer.

With xdoclet 1.1.2, nothing happens for WAS5 indeed. I'm now trying to
upgrade to xdoclet 1.2b3, but I can't find any upgrade-documentation!

The @websphere tags don't seem to specify any info that I need, like
resource references, destination-jndi name for the queue that my
message-drivens have to bind to...

I'm using weblogic at the moment and all it's tags are well documented, but
I'll have to port the app to websphere as well.

regards,

--Tim

Hi,
if you look in the xdoclet website, on the left menu click on the "ibm"
option. There isn't much there but it tells you what tags are allowed.
I am also trying to get WAS5 working with xdoclets but I am missing some
stuff in the "xmi" files for WAS5. so I am not sure if WAS5 is supported or
not, specifically I am missing references to my Message Driven Beans. It
does not generate anything for them.

In your build.xml file for ant you can use the "<websphere ..." tag to
generate the WAS specific descriptors. In the classes you can use
"@websphere.bean ...", etc.

Let me know if you get yours to work.

Thanks

Gustavo Tenrreiro

Hi,

I'm looking for some documentation on how to use XDoclet with WebSphere!
There are tags for websphere, but there's no documentation on how to use
them. I can't even find out for which version of WAS they are!

Is WAS5 supported anyhow?

Regards,
