you have to change the xdt file a bit look at struts forums. I know there were a couple of questions like this
I know, because I asked, and got the answer, basically the xdt file that will propogate those validator tags over to your form without chnages, so that you can generate validation config later. The person who helped me was Matt Raible, I think. If you do not find it let me know I will send you mine. I just have no access to my code today. If you need it I can send it tomorrow. Alex.
