My firm uses macs exclusively for java consulting ...

I currently have resin, tomcat, jboss, eclipse, oracle, weblogic, mysql,
postgresql running with no problems. Haven't had any major problems so far,
and my productivity is much better than when using windows.

Just started using XDoclet, and haven't had (nor do i expect) any mac
specific problems related to that.

The interface takes a little getting used to if you've been using windows
for any length of time, but you'll find that things seem to make more sense
the way they are layed out on the Mac. Good luck - happy to help with other
questions if you want to send me a note off the list.
