[Xdoclet-user] Use of BaseEntityBean

I'm just exploring with XDoclet. I've noticed that some of the samples make use of a "BaseEntityBean", but it's not clear whether or not this is considered an XDoclet "best practice", vs. just "something you can do".

In the absense of a base class for CMP beans, XDoclet seems to generate a complete CMP implementation. Am I missing something?
