I guess I'm not that familiar with setting up log4j perhaps. I have added log4j.jar
to my ant/lib folder. I have placed a log4j.properties in my ant/lib folder. I
assume this puts them on the classpath for ant. I'm trying to run ant like such:
C:\>ant descriptor.detail -debug -logger org.apache.commons.logging.Log
Apache Ant version 1.5.4 compiled on August 12 2003
Buildfile: build.xml
Unable to instantiate specified logger class org.apache.commons.logging.Log : ja

I checked out the doc on http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/log4j.html, but was unable to
make out exactly what i need to do to get xdoclet's logging viewed. Any insights into
more specifics on what i need to do would be most appreciated.
