Hi, I was just looking for a clarification of the xxxHasBeenSet methods that are generated for the EJB value objects.
We wanted to perform specific functionality only if a certain field had been changed after coming back from the web tier, but it seems that this field will also have the hasBeenSet flag set to true. This happens when a lookup is performed on the remote interface, and the getXxxVO() method called. Looking at this method, all the fields are set individually, resulting in all the flags being set to true. Is there a way to reset all of the fields as if none of the values had been changed without having to go through them all individually? Or are we trying to use these flags in the wrong way? thanks, Mark Mark Stacey I'm using Vodafone Mail - to get your free mobile email account go to http://www.vodafone.ie Use of Vodafone Mail is subject to Terms and Conditions http://www.vodafone.ie/terms/website ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
