When Xdoclet reached the bad reference, the build was stopped but its message was "unknown jboss version number".

Was there any error message in the Ant output when XDoclet reached the
missing reference, or did it fail silently and carry on? It seems to me
this ought to be reported as an error and stop the build; if that's not
the case, perhaps you could raise an issue for it in JIRA? Thanks.
