But the XDoclet build process doesn't.  If you build XDoclet under 1.5.x
and then use it under 1.6.1, does that work?  What about the pre-built
jars in the binary download?  Do they not work under 1.6.1?  You say
you're using 1.2.1, not from CVS, so why do you need to build from
source anyway?
