Sorry I'm quite new to xdoclets and I'm not sure what "JIRA" is. Bug tracker? I'll see if I can find something that relates. Regarding error messages, the error came from xdoclet, so I would think xdoclet has complete control over what is said. Some reference to the origin of the error would be very helpful. Just saying the 3.2 is illegal and nothing else makes it tediously time consumming to resolve the error. In this case it came from the jonas subtask of the ejbdoclet task. All xdoclet code. Shouldn't be difficult to at least report that the error originated from the jonas subtask of the ejbdoclet task. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
