Hi Stefan,
had the same, but it's just a warning and doesn't stop the plugin from working. Anyway, to get rid of that message you have to edit the plugin.jelly file under ${user.home}/.maven/plugins/maven-xdoclet-plugin-1.2.1. You have to remove the namespace declaration xmlns:m="maven".
That's all.

I seem to have the same problem, and there is a Issue Reported, too: http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/xdoclet/browse/XDT-930. Gary Lach, the issue reporter, seems to have a solution for it, but i don't understand it... (I'm a newbie, too ;)
Comment, ideas anyone?
