XDoclet 1 or 2? If XDoclet 1.x, why not just submit patches to the existing module in JIRA? If XDoclet 2, there's an existing xdoclet-plugins module. If you're active enough, chances are you could get CVS access to maintain the existing stuff; why duplicate efforts?
