Hi there,
what I am trying to do is to generate the serialVersionUID for some of our generated class (custom templates with custom plugin). So I started looking on the net and came across an apparently old XDoclet package called xdoclet.util.serialveruid.* with some classes that were used in templates like the dataobject or pk class to compute that value.
However, in the current source I am using (1.2.1) I didn't find this package and its classes anymore.
What were the reasons to remove the package and its files?? Is it not a good approach to compute the serialVersionUID value?? Does anyone know an equivalent implementation to compute the serialVersionUID??
Can someone help me out here?
