I do not know about 2.1. It never looked serious to me, so I did not work long with it. So you will either need to upgrade to Eclipse 3.0 or use patch utility.
In case of Eclipse 3.0 (and I think you need final version) you just need to right click on the root directory in package explorer and select Team -> Apply Patch ... and you will be prompted for patch.diff. The effect should be the same as in patch -p1 version of it. If you are on windows and can not update to Eclipse 3.0 (by the way I am not sure if 2.1 does not have it, I just did not work with it long enough) then you will probably need cygwin to run patch, as it comes with cygwin. All you will need to do there is just copy the patch.diff in the root directory of all the files that need patching and run patch -p1 patch.diff this will automatically patch everything up for you (add lines to files, add extra files, remove not needed files, etc.) To make sure you are pointing or copying file into the right directory look inside patch.diff there is no mystery there; a bit cryptic but readable.
