xdoclet 2 has only one  problem - all the developers
are still stuck to xdoclet-1, and do not develop
xdoclet plugins ( though most of them are commiters...
) And I'm tired of inviting people...


And documentation problem is kind of solved - tags are
marked up, self-validating ( and bomb on problems,
though maven is able to swallow anything... ) 

Tag documentation comes from javadocs and goes stright
to confluence website on codehaus...
