I tend to agree with the submitter, I don't think XDoclet should be assigning default tag values unless the user has explicity set a value for it.
Changing this now would certainly break backwards compatibility for people who are relying on the xdoclet-specified defaults, however.
I'm curious what other people think? Should this change be made?
