I'm new to XDoclet and tripped over something that took me a while to figure out. Perhaps this would be worth a warning message? (I'm using XDoclet 1.2.3 with Java 1.5.0_05)
If your <webdoclet> <deploymentdescriptor> tag is missing the attribute servletspec="2.4" then the resulting web.xml will have a <web-app> tag with no attributes (xmlns= etc.), which will not work. -- Brent J.
