Hi,
I confirm, Fedora 17 was using PVonHvm out of the box on XcP 1.5b(xen
4.1.1), even shutdown the vm with xencenter was working without xentool.
Now with XcP 1.6, Fedora PVonHvm is disable... : Xen Platform: blacklisted
by host

Objet : [Xen-API] [XCP 1.6 beta] PVHVM: "Xen Platform: blacklisted by host"

Dear All,

Linux OS's (all in my case) in PVonHWM mode does not use PV drivers for
block devices and nic's with message:
...
[ 0.000000] Xen version 4.1.
[ 0.000000] Xen Platform PCI: I/O protocol version 1
[ 0.000000] Xen Platform: blacklisted by host
...

Two Intel platforms with E5620 and X5650 processors.
OS's to install:
Fedora 15, 2.6.43.8-1.fc15.i686.PAE,
Ubuntu 12.04 server, 3.2.0-32-generic
Ubuntu 12.10 server, 3.5.0-17-generic,
Debian 6, 2.6.32-5-amd64,
Fedora 17, 3.3.4-5.fc17.x86_64

All these kernels successfuly unplug emulated devices and use PV drivers
on XCP 1.5 (although Ubuntu 12.10 and Fedora 17 did not found a cd-rom
for continue intallation, but blkfront and netfront switched to PV mode
in these kerners). So, it seems that the PVonHVM simply disabled.
The only similar situation I found at Citrix forum:
http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=315560&tstart=0, and I'm
afraid that I do something completenly wrong. Can anybody point me to
right direction? or is where a really bug in XCP or Xen?
Since I have not an idea what side I need looking for, I don't put any
debug information in this post, and, of course, will give required.

Thanks!

Sergey.
