I am using the GNU toolchain using brew. That would also work using LLVM i guess but the dependency on other GNU tools like make and sed would still be there so you would need brew (or something else providing gnu make and sed for our build to work). In any case you would require to include StdGNU.mk anyway. I am not sure if renaming it is a good idea as you need something GNU friendly even if it is not a GNU thing so ....
