I've tested with tools/misc/xen-hvmctx for xc_domain_hvm_getcontext and with tools/xentrace/xenctx for xc_domain_hvm_getcontext_partial. Before this I first looked at the part of the guest startup when it calls xc_domain_hvm_getcontext to save all the info. If there are more tests that I could run please provide.
