Hmm, the compile alone doesn't get you a successful boot. The more
complicated step there actually is the install/update of your system with
the binaries created in the compile step.
Hence the questions:
- What did you try to compile, which sources and toolset did
you start with ?
- Did your compile actually fail ? If so:
* How did you "compile" - describe steps please
* Where exactly did it fail, and with what message(s) ?
- How did you install the generated binaries ?
* Any (error) messages when doing so ?
- What behaviour do you get during boot (messages if any) ?
