This won't work. The VNIC code disallows the use of a wireless NIC underneath. In testing, none of the wireless NICs I could try would allow the transmission of packets with a source MAC address other than that of the device itself. Given that this is the basic mechanism used to enable VNICs, this meant that guest domains were not able to successfully transmit packets (as they use a different MAC address from that of the underlying NIC).
