It doesn't look for me as install on ZFS.
I've specified size of ZFS at the time of creation and had 
to follow some naming conventions when pointing  virt-install
to ZFS:-
--file /dev/zvol/dsk/pool/snv81-dsk
where only part of path:- 
pool/snv81-dsk 
has been created by myself.
I understand , that you may be using symlink,but  in this
case how "-s 16" is supposed to work.
