This was a known problem with older Nevada builds (why not upgrade to a
recent build?). Remember to run liveupgrade20 script before you do the
actual upgrade to a more recent build, and you'll get the xVM menu
entry.

As a side note, HVM domains don't have a console like this. You can set
up a console that you can telnet to, see the archives
