Could be worse, I was using satellite for almost two years, with a 
whopping 425mb/day limit spread amongst four people with only one saving 
grace, an open window 3-6am est, which is no good for interactive 
downloads.  Now I'm on cable, and it does go out sometimes, but 
downloading 3gb every two weeks doesn't bother them, nor does it make me 
"fap" (Fair Access Policy) violation.  I haven't had the issue with 
either connection downloading OpenSolaris ISO's.  Right now I'm pulling 
344kb/s (Of a 365kb/s capacity, 3mbit) off Sun's mirror.

Curious, what isp are you complaining about?  Sun?  How would being 
Linux affect anything, it's more of an issue with load balancing than 
the OS, surely you know that.
