I just BFUed from nv81 to nv85, and I'm panicing on boot: SunOS Release 5.11 Version snv_85 64-bit Copyright 1983-2008 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. (XEN) irq.c:437:d0 Cannot bind IRQ 4 to guest. In use by 'ns16550'.
panic[cpu0]/thread=fffffffffbc3cba0: physinfo op refused fffffffffbc6eca0 unix:mach_getcpufreq+bc () fffffffffbc6ece0 unix:mach_clkinit+26 () fffffffffbc6eda0 unix:cbe_init+dc () fffffffffbc6edd0 genunix:main+40 () fffffffffbc6ede0 unix:_locore_start+80 () skipping system dump - no dump device configured rebooting... The only thing about my setup that might be the slightest bit out of the ordinary is that I'm running with a fairly new Intel motherboard (Q35-based) with VT-d enabled. Since this chipset has made its way into some fairly mainstream systems by now, I don't really believe it's related. The 'physinfo op' message smells like a kernel/hypervisor mismatch. Is that possible? Nils This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ xen-discuss mailing list [email protected]
