Wow... this is hard. I just installed Debian Sarge and Etch into Virtualbox, and it's dead simple - download a regular netinstall .iso file, and use the wizard, and it all just works. On the other hand, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get a Debian (sarge or etch) DomU up and running. All the instructions I find involve running debootstrap, which of course is only possible if I'm using a Debian dom0 as well.
