There is a problem with the PV network driver xnf (bug 6703227):
when it receives packets before the xnf interface is plumbed and
started, subsequent packets are not seen be the guest domain.

The guest's network interface appears to be dead for several minutes,
but eventually recovers.

I guess, now that HVM OpenSolaris guests can use PV drivers,
the same bug could hit a HVM OpenSolaris guest domain.

Are these 32 or 64-bit HVM domUs?

As far as I understand it, updating (and booting with) the new
/boot/amd64/xen.gz file is enough.  And you should be running
a 64-bit HVM domU.
