Per my understanding, with Virtualbox, you can have:
+ An easy-to-use GUI tool
+ An acceptable performance running VMs
+ Do not require CPUs with AMD-V or VT-x feature to run

While, with Xen, you can have:
+ SMP support
+ Better performance than Virtualbox with PV drivers - nic or disk
+ Live migration support
