I have snv_96 running debian hvm instances on 2 identical x4600s. On one system, they are always up and ready. On the other system, the xVMs go to sleep after a random amount of time. You can only get into them by logging into the gui. ssh stops responding and they do not answer a ping. But if you "gui" in, and nslookup, they can resolve and you can ssh out.
