Hi
I am trying to track down a problem with nfs performance between an opensolaris nfs server in dom0 and an ubuntu pv domu client. I would be
gratefull for any tips on how to identify the problem.
.
I have /home from the opensolaris dom0 mounted as /home in the ubuntu domu.
Read performance on the client is very slow:
Did you try mounting with nfsv3 or nfsv2? Is it using tcp or udp?

It is much faster if I use cifs:
dd if=intrepid-desktop-i386.iso bs=32k of=/dev/null

22260+1 records out
