You should see some info on the Xen console (see 'xm dmesg'). There
might be a way to check it in win2k8 itself too, but I wouldn't know
offhand.
Right now, the hyper-v enlightenments as implemented by Xen don't
provide you with all that much, although they are useful items. There
are three items: 1) APIC access through MSRs (could be a win for 32bit
Windows), 2) Windows will give up the VCPU when it spins too long on a
lock (useful for busy systems where VCPUs are fighting for physical
CPUs), 3) Windows will relax its timer checks (avoids the dreaded bug
check 0x101 BSOD).
