Obviously this makes xVM in OpenSolaris absolutely > unusable for MS Windows XP virtualization. > > Thanks > Philip Yes, it seems that there are a lot of bugs/problems in windows XP or 2003 which come important when run as xvm guests, especially in io aspects (disk io drops after a short at ~20M/s to 5K/s for 20 seconds or so, after that it would go up to ~60M/s on our metal here). (Concluded from my personal experience) Just use win7 or 2008R2 if possible.
