Dear all,
we recently succeeded to compile Xerces 1.4 and run the
samples on Max OS X (G4 processor) using the c++
and make commandline tools that can be found on the
Developer CD that ships with the Final Mac OS X release.
I just joined the list, so I'm not sure, if other people already
compiled and ran Xerces for MaxOS X. Anyway - I put a .sit file
with the compiled code on
http://cern.ch/xdaq
You can find the package by following the "Software" link.
There's also a .pdf file that tells, what modifications we did
to sucessfully compile Xerces using the commandline compiler.
This is a very preliminary and test compilation only. I'd like to modify
the
Makfiles and some .hpp/.cpp files more cleanly in the future.
Does anybody think, it's worth putting such modifications in the
Xerces CVS tree?
Let me know, if a link is broken or something doesn't work.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
All the best
Johannes
