Hi Ideshini, we have compiled xerces library on Solaris 2.6 with Sun WorkShop C++ Compiler 5.0. I didn't try the examples, but as I remember we had problems in a multithreaded environment (option -mt set) when moving files. The application hanged in function mutex_lock. We used then the option library=iostream when compiling and linking. I can't explain exactly what happened there but perhaps it helps you ..... I have tried both the binary build and rebuild of the library source and in both instances I end up with an executable that just hangs chewing up CPU time. I have only tried the latest version of the library 1.4.0. Any help in this regard will be much appreciated. Regards Ideshini.
