That sounds promising. We too have a limited number of DTD's
so this may be an option for us.

Sorry, poked the send button before I meant to.

I also need to parse DTDs for an application that needs to edit 
specific XML files.  One approach I'm considering is to run the 
DTD thru the DTD-to-XML Schema Perl program available on the 
Apache website and then load the schema in as an XML file.  

This, obviously, only works in certain circumstances.  I have a 
limited number of DTDs with which I need to work so I can 
pre-convert them and don't have to run the converter on the fly.
