You can write an InputSource/BinInStream derivate of your own that can pull
down documents via whatever protocol you want. Look at how
LocalFileInputSource/BinFileInStream, or URLInputSource/BinURLInStream work
together. They are simple derived classes that allow you to get data into
the parser any way you want.
Another option is to use one of the existing (or write your own) NetAccessor
derivative. You then plug this into the parser by pointing
XMLPlatformUtils::fgNetAccessor at it. If there is a network accessor
provided, the parser will use it to access any URL based system ids. There
are some kind of semi-complete implementations of NetAccessors that come
with the parser itself. If they are not sufficient, you could do your own.
