Title: RE: Compiling version Xerces-C Version 1.5.0 with Sun Workshop CC ver sion 5.3

We have successfully compiled version 1.5.1 on solaris 2.8 using the 5.2 compiler. we have some problems which we have currently worked around. the specific case we ran into was any time you pass a filename to the parser that does not exist, you get a core dump. Note that this problem does not occur when building in debug mode.

Subject: Compiling version Xerces-C Version 1.5.0 with Sun Workshop CC
ver sion 5.3

Hello

Has anyone had experiences of trying to compile Xerces-C Version 1.5.0 with
Sun Workshop CC version 5.3

We are currently using XML4c version 3.5.1 on solaris 2.6, however are
looking to migrate our application to solaris 2.7 / solaris 8, using the Sun
Workshop version 5.3 and would like to get an idea of any issues / lessons
learnt from anyone that we may face during this migration

Thanks for any help

Simon
