Hi PeiYong,
I downloaded the latest nightly build from the url you
specified and used this build to compile the code. The code compiled
perfectly but when i executed the code it again gave me an exception
while decoding the encoded data. The code was no different from the one
that u corrected in my previous mail. I don't know why the same problem
is coming again(I am working on Windows 2000). Any suggestions as to
where i might be going wrong?

Thanks
Tarun

Tarun,

You may download the latest nightly build from
   http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-c/nightly/2002-03-06/
and there you go, good luck.

Rgds,
PeiYong
