Hello list, I'm trying to get xerces 2.1.0 to work in a BCB6 project. I have downloaded the sources and built the package. Everything is working as expected so far and I'm successfully able to parse XML files within my application.
The only problem I have is that XMLException::getMessage() always returns an empty string so my ErrorHandler cannot print out useful messages. The samples of the binary distribution of xerces 2.1.0 do not have this problem, so it seems that there is a problem with the source distribution and BCB6. I'm using the german versions of Windows NT 4.0 and BCB 6. Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this?
