Hi Robert, Your statement is true. The Mac OS X builds don't support ICU. Apple's Unicode support is very good, so there hasn't been a call for ICU. But you're welcome to submit a patch...it probably wouldn't be too much work, at least for the command line build. As I recall from the time I looked at this (several years ago now) you'd have to submit Mac OS X support patches to ICU as well.
