I think I encountered something like this before....

I think the Msxml.h has typedef its own DOMDocument, and thus lead to this
error.   Try qualifier the use of DOMDocument in your application e.g.

    XERCES_CPP_NAMESPACE_QUALIFIER DOMDocument * fDoc;

and see if it helps.
