Xerces Panic Error

------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-19 19:27 -------
Have you contacted Intuit? While Xerces is throwing the error, it's almost
certainly a consequence of a setup or coding error on their part. If they're
using ICU (a transcoding library), something could be going wrong with that. If
not, I'm not sure how this error could occur. (But my uncertainty means little.
I'm a pretty lightweight user of Xerces.)

Assuming they're using the Xerces DLL (rather than linking statically), you
could try putting a fresh copy of the DLL (and maybe the corresponding ICU DLL -
I'm not sure what that would be) in the same directory with the application.
This assumes that you're confident that you know the version of the DLL TurboTax
is using. Releases are archived at
http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-c/stable/archives/.

Which raises a question: are there multiple copies of the Xerces DLL on your
system? If so, are you certain TurboTax is finding the correct one?

All that may not be much help, but I'm not sure what else to offer. Oh yeah,
good luck!
