Hi,

Go to the website http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c and select Download from
the left menu.

Then select the following links:
stable
archives
xerces_c_1_6_0

All the download stuff for version 1.6 should be in there. Once you've
installed it, look in the 'samples' and 'examples' folders for examples of
how to use it.
