I am an experienced developer but new to the Xerces project.
I have worked extensively on the MSXML DOM parsers. I like the Xerces project very much and would like to contribute actively towards its development.
To make a start, I added some code to the DOMCount sample. I did that for two reasons :
1. I felt the samples are the first place a new comer should begin working with
2. I did not find any code in any of the included samples that dealt with attributes. So, I added some attribute handling code to the DOMCount sample.
Please let me know how I can submit this small contribution to the project. I read the FAQ on the web page but it looks like I need to talk to a Committer in order to make my contribution.
